Spring arranges workshops on Social Entrepreneurship, Culture and Creativity in Liberia

Entrepreneurship can take many forms, in some cases it’s about building companies that generate financial returns, in other cases it’s about creating organizations that solve social problems, social entrepreneurship. We have an exciting ongoing project funded by the Swedish Institute where we, together with a number of social entrepreneurs from Liberia, develop new solutions to social challenges.

On Friday, April 16, we met during a workshop and continued working on our concepts. It was a very successful afternoon where politicians, researchers, designers, artists and entrepreneurs co-created for three hours.

An example from the cultural and creative industries came from Andreas Nilsson from Spring who shared his experiences about how his involvement in Täby flyers, a sports association, can be used as a "hack" to reach and work with children and young people.

One of the goals of the workshop was to find applicable cases to work on, which we absolutely succeeded in doing, Spring looks forward with excitement to the project's further development!
