Wallenberg invests 28 million in digital innovation
The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation donates SEK 28 million to digital innovation. The funds go to the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation, a collaboration between the University of Gothenburg, the Stockholm School of Economics and Umeå University.
Spring has for many years supported SCDI in realizing digital innovations, especially towards the public sector. We are convinced that this resource injection will help SCDI establish itself as a world leader in its field, and we look forward to continued cooperation.

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation was founded in 1917. The foundation's purpose is to work for the benefit of the country and support Swedish basic research and education in mainly medicine, technology and science. This is done through support for excellent individual researchers and through project grants.
Since 1917, the Foundation has allocated just over SEK 29 billion and almost SEK 2 billion has in recent years been granted excellent research and education annually, making the Foundation Sweden's largest private research funder and one of the largest in Europe.”
