Smart Living by Fortum

With a tablet in a smart home, residents can monitor and control the irconsumption of water, energy and heat, as well as control lighting, heat and electrical devices. Additionally, the system incorporates security, fire and water flooding alarms. Residents will be able to manage and control their home either via a separate wall attached tablet or through their own cell phone. 

This exciting project is one of many assignments for Fortum, and Spring is proud to be a part in Fortum´s digital transformation for the connecting future.

One of the major challenges in this project has been to create as clever solution as possible while making the app as simple and user-friendly as possible.

Another challenge has been to adapt the app to suit different countries and cultures, but also different lists of requirements of the housing companies [associations]to which the service is offered.

The project was started in August 2017 and the launch will take place in Q1 2018.

The team at Spring consists of UX Lead, AD/Design and Development.
