En tävlingsplattform för gamers & influencers

challenge.gg

Life saving innovation launched in Denmark

As a digital partner to Heartrunner, we are very proud and happy that the Heartrunner system is now available in all of Denmark. We have worked hard to develop the system with new functionality assisting volunteers to save more lives, both in Sweden and Denmark.

In the case of a person having a cardiac arrest and someone has called the emergency services. The system sends out alerts to volunteers nearby calling for assistance until the ambulance can arrive. It is of outmost importance to quickly assist those in need to save lives. All volunteers linked to the service have CPR training.

Half of the regions in Sweden are currently using the system today and we are working together with Heartrunner to make more regions sign up for the service. The plan is also to export the system to more countries.

For more information see Heartrunner.

Toothie is out now – Swedens first dental care app

Have you ever felt that you need advice or information about dental care, but dont have time for the lengthy waiting times many clinics are burdened with? Toothie is Swedens first dental care app, and at Spring we have been with them all the way from design to development. The app makes it easier and more comfortable to recieve guidance about dentistry, both aestetical and general. Another advantage is that Toothie helps those of us who suffer from dental anxiety. They can now talk to a legitimate dentist without having to visit a clinic, which works as a first step towards better oral health. Toothies website is a good place to visit if you want a general guide to different dental issues.

Toothies goal is to offer the most available and affordable dental care for all. The dentists at Toothie all have swedish dentist licenses and broad knowledge from their experience in physical dentistry. The digital technology complements the traditional dental care and raises its qualities to new heights.

Europe invests 3 million in sustainable housing

With the effects of climate change becoming increasingly visible, there is a heightened awareness of the need to speed up the energy transition. This transition is taking place all across Europe but cannot be done without individual homeowners. Fortunately, more and more owners are willing to invest in energy saving measures and alternative energy sources in their homes. To support this, an area in the Netherlands; Drenthe, has been awarded 3 million euros in European subsidies to lead the STRONGHOUSE project. In this project organizations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom will work together for the coming three years to facilitate at least 15,000 homeowners in retro-fitting their houses. One of these organisations is us; Spring! We are going to develop Blockchain solutions to connect citizens, municipalities and green lenders.

In order to create new measures, businesses in the sector are closely involved in STRONGHOUSE. Small and medium sized enterprizes are being requested to come up with innovative and affordable techniques and other financial instruments. In addition to saving a calculated 10 kiloton of CO2 in Drenthe alone, this international project is expected to generate some 100 million euro in investments.

Intelleqt and ayond merges to form Spring

For many years Intelleqt and Spring has maintained a close cooperation. Now, we are merging to form Spring under the leadership of CEO Johanna Särnå.

During 2019 we have worked together on a groundbreaking e-Health project, and decided that we should merge our companies in order to offer our customers a better and deeper expertise on digitalization. Together we are about 40 experts on digitalization, with vast experience in innovative connected services.

– Through the merger we create an exciting innovation bureau that gives us a unique capability to support our clients in their digital innovation proccesses both technologically, visually and operationally. It also means we can accept more and bigger projects. We share a common vision on the possibilities of digitalization where we see a need from our customers to strenghten their business by creating and implementing their own innovative digital services, says Johanna Särnå, CEO.

– One example of an exciting innovation we have developed is our own service DiMiOS, a simple way to measure and develop an organizations digital maturity. The service is developed in close cooperation with researchers at Göteborg University and is widely used within the public sector, says Andreas Nilsson, head of research and business development at Spring.

– Together we have about 100 customers, such as Länsförsäkringar, Husqvarna and Fortum Charge & Drive, all of whom we will be able to offer even better services. Furthermore we will continue to work with our internal innovation projects, both existing and new ones. We will also deepen our cooperation with leading research groups on digitalization and entrepreneurialship both in Sweden and abroad, says chairman Thomas Arctaedius.

Now we want to help our customers improve their businesses by creating and implementing innovative digital services. Our goal is to run bigger development projects that envelop design as well as development, and so we are now looking for additional senior colleagues that want to be a part of our journey.

Andreas on assignment at DN.se and DI.se

Springs Andreas Marklund has been working with DN and DI since early 2019, creating new graphic guidelines for both DN and DI. We asked him about what he’s been up to over at their offices:

“My primary task at DN was to create a new graphic design system together with the product team. I also worked with graphic updates, campaigns and purchase flows. For example I was the lead designer for the newly released DN Filmklubb, a service that you can subscribe to as a package deal for DN, filled with all kinds of perks for those who enjoy movies.

For DI, I worked as a Visual Designer in the product team. There I created a new UI-guideline kit and was also part of creating a new design concept. I also worked with general updates on the current design for the app and web.”

SMSLivräddare wins inUse Award 2019

“A digital lifeline that can make anyone into a hero. A mobile lifebuoy in every persons hand. SMSlivräddare does what the name implies – saves lives though smart digital communication!” – Thus reads the motivation for the winner of the inUse Award 2019, who just so happens to be SMSLivräddare, one of Springs clients.

SMSlivräddare is an app with a very important purpose: to save lives. Users of the app need to have a documented knowledge in CPR, and should someone need their assistance they will recieve an alarm about it so that they could do what they can to assist. The thought is that the app will make someone at the scene before even healthcare personell has arrived, since the first moments after a sudden heart attack are the most vital.

InUse Award is about displaying good examples of Swedish solutions that makes their users everyday life simpler and more enjoyable. They focus on usability and the whole experience instead of just the look of it. SMSlivräddare won 25 000 SEK and two tickets to From Business to Buttons 2020 – Europe’s primary conference on User Experience.

“Huge congratulations to SMSlivräddare for winning inUse Award 2019! Feels great to work together with you” says Fredrik Aldegren, Head of Business Development at Spring.

New design for Indiska

“Have you noticed the beauty all around you? – the opening line from a song by Åke Thambert, one of the people who has shaped the Indiska brand into what it is today. The line is not about Indiska specifically, but it is undeniably fitting. Indiska is the store that want to display its passion for India, the countries craft, colors and materials. And they are in need of Spring’s help.

They are going through major changes, and their e-commerce is a big part of this. Therefore, they need help with UX- as well as design for several parts of their system, among other things their omnichannel and their loyalty club and its graphical profile which needs to be fully responsive. The new design for Indiska has been noted in this article in Market.

Spring is going to work on design and UX in several projects. It is still too early to reveal anything more than that, but you can expect big changes. Just imagine how beautiful it will be around you!ring er!

Spring goes to Nordic.js

Nordic.js is a single track JavaScript conference with talks by internationally renowned speakers and rising stars in the JavaScript community. Previous speakers includes Karolina Szczur, Guillermo Rauch, Rachel Andrew, Mariko Kosaka, and Jeremy Keith. The 10-11th of October this years version of Nordic.js goes underway. At Spring we have three developer going to the conference; Robert Horngren, Anna Lindström and Viktor Andersson.

Nordic.js is made by developers for developers. Their ambition is to inspire but also to be inspired, to meet and learn from others and to strenghten the JavaScript community.

Robert, Viktor and Anna had this to say about the conference.

Robert: I’m mostly hoping to be inspired. I want to be aware of whats going on in tech; whats available today but also what will be in the future. Earlier years I have followed Noric.js’s live stream and thats what really got me interested to actually be there. It’s very innovative, what they talk about; it might not be things you use today, but they are at the forefront of showing what is possible to do with JavaScript.

Viktor: I heard of the conference through their other event Code in the Dark, where i participated a few times. I wanted to go after I was told about it by some other participants I know.

Anna: I also heard of it through Code in the Dark, in which I will actually participate this year! I’m looking forward to many of the speakers, primarily the ones talking about React, React Native, Typescript, VR & AR and TensorFlow.
